[edk2] MemoryError exceptions when trying to build OVMF on Windows

I'm having some problems building OVMF (latest trunk code) on Windows: the build
system keeps throwing MemoryError exceptions. The machine has 16GB RAM and is
running Windows Server 2012 R2.

I'm running the following (I've also seen the error with VS2010x86 and VS2012x86 toolsets):

build -a X64 -t VS2013x86 -p OvmfPkg\OvmfPkgX64.dsc -b RELEASE
and
build -a IA32 -t VS2013x86 -p OvmfPkg\OvmfPkgIa32.dsc -b RELEASE

The log contains:

build...
: error C0DE: Unknown fatal error when processing []

I'm having some problems building OVMF (latest trunk code) on Windows: the build
system keeps throwing MemoryError exceptions. The machine has 16GB RAM and is
running Windows Server 2012 R2.

I think it was due to a 32-bit version of Python being installed, since I
installed everything again on a new machine but with 64-bit Python and the
errors have disappeared.
